The executive assistant functions as a senior-level manager and coordinator of all activities emanating from or flowing into the office of the president and chief executive officer. The assistant serves as a primary aide to the president, discharging the responsibilities of a chief of staff by facilitating his day-to-day collaboration with and oversight of his senior management team. The executive assistant acts as a principal liaison to the board of trustees, its officers, and standing committee chairs. Finally, the executive assistant plays an instrumental and supportive role in enhancing the president’s leadership roles in strategic planning & consultation, institutional advancement, capital fundraising, real estate development, and all other professional service-oriented activities.
Requirements
At least 10 years successful administrative and/or executive experience
Ability to multi task a multitude of complex tasks in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Professional yet friendly demeanor
Ability to interact successfully with a wide range of individuals
Accessible, flexible, confident, assertive ,and mature personality, with a refined sense of humor
Computing literacy and proficiency
Ability to learn and work effectively in Microsoft Office with either an ability or interest inlearning other software packages
Earned Bachelor’s required, Master’s degree preferred

Compensation: $60,000 to $63,000 to begin with comprehensive benefits
